Welcome to the DOOLITTLE Community
Baseball League Website!
We are excited that you have taken time out to
visit us on the World Wide Web. The
Doolittle Community Baseball League have been in
existence since 2003. Coaches from around
the Las Vegas valley dedicate their time to work
with children from the urban community to train,
mentor, and develop their life skills "beyond" the
game of baseball.
Doolittle Community Baseball League, Inc. is a
Non-profit Organization and is covered under
Federal Group Exemption as described in Section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Goals /
Objectives:

•
To work with individuals and community
agencies to correct any prejudice and/or
discrimination, when encountered, while
working with any and all programs and
services. • To promote,
support and enhance the image of
baseball as a sport; •To
operate programs and facilities that
support programs of baseball, recreation
and tutoring; •To host a major
baseball game annually;
•To ensure members are provided
personal career and professional
training, discipline and education;
•To provide members with opportunities
to participate in Olympic Games and
professional sports events; •To
provide support and intervention for the
membership;
•To serve as a liaison between members
and the community in facilitating
problem prevention and intervention;
•To combat community deterioration and
prevent juvenile delinquency by
providing workshops, baseball activities
and educational programs for membership
and their families;
•To seek out and solicit funding via
grants, donations and contributions this
organization may qualify for in the
continuation of programs and services.
Darnell is
the head coach and vice president for
the DCBL. It was his vision and
initiative that formed the DCBL program.
He provides the leadership in the
ongoing development and improvement to
the baseball program and involve the
coaches with planning development
implementation of the educational
program
to improve individual and team needs.
